Temari Fan

Fan for Temari cosplay that's going to be at AWA 2012.

Outer pieces: 4" x 1/4" x 4' poplar board
Inner pieces: 2" x 1/4" x 4' poplar board
Fan material: Heavyweight muslin, glued onto frame with Loctite Indoor-safe adhesive, and some E-6000
1/4" hex bolt, 4 1/2"
Wing nut
Gold ribbon trim, 2 varieties, also glued on with Loctite and E-6000
Purple fabric paint

Took just about a week to do, for a few hours or so each night and waiting overnight a couple times for glue and paint to dry. Gold trim was added to cover up where the fabric is folded over to hide the unfinished edges (no sewing happened with this project). All in all, the span is about 71" (4 1/2" x 4' folded up) and the entire thing weighs about 5-6 lbs. I have considered doing cosplay prop commissions. What do you think? ^^
